Lately, I have found myself being interested in transparent accessories or items better knowned as “naked trend”. Let me share with you my 2013 Spring selections. I spotted on the web a few models of transparent Valentino bag and shoes. My favorites were the Rockstud pumps (right end side), and the Glam Rock studded PVC and leather shoulder bag (middle). They would both fit perfectly with a nice summer dress or nude color (also an upcoming trend) outfit. To continue with a springish-summerish mood, match this outfit with the flat sandals from Maison Martin Margiela to go to the beach or on a lazy shopping stroll. I found those beauties while looking through the Solestruck’s new arrivals. I also found myself liking the Acne sneakers for men! Why not? In the same style but with heels are the T-strap Alexander Wang. Before getting them I would definitely check out if the PVC part wears comfortably, or is likely to cause blisters. With the same potential issue and a killer height, I also like the Givenchy abstract-looking naked shoes of wood and leather. We move on to our best buddy against the sun: shades! Jil Sander‘s are definitely a nice model that goes with any outfit because it is almost color-less. A go-anywhere, fit-everything-and-nothing item – exactly what we need. This is an old model; I couldn’t find the round ones from the SS 2013 collection. Naked alternatives that look just as nice include the Kenzo and Prism. While all naked, we also want to bling! So we shall ask for a necklace from Dior or the famous “undémodable” Charlotte Olympia rigid transparent clutch.
