Red, Leopard and Makeup

It may not be original (as you may have already noticed).  I carry my 3.1 Phillip Lim pashli satchel almost all the time.  It is such a pratical bag, bigger than it looks and of a red color adaptable to most outfits.  I am also wearing a new mantel I got in Singapore.  Indeed, it’s odd to buy a winter coat in a tropical country.  I had already spotted it a while ago but when I saw it on such an attractive sale at Zara, I just couldn’t resist.  If you followed my blogs regularly, you would have noticed that I am quite a sale shopper.  I suppose one has to, on a student’s budget.

This time I want to talk about beauty and make-up products.  I used to wear eyeliner every day but also to go swimmng three times a week.  So I needed it to be very very water-resistant.  Believe me, the MAC liquid eyeliner is THE BEST.  You could spend the whole day in water and the eyeliner would not smear or budge.  As for my eyelashes, they never looked longer since I began using Maybelline masacara.  Actually, I use two of them; first I apply the “cat eyes” and then the “volum express”.  People would ask if my eyelashes were real.  Of course they are!  The deep red lipstick I am wearing on the pictures came from Max Factor.  It is long lasting and water resistant.  For skin complexion, all my products are from MAC.  I apply first a mineral powder and then bronzing on the cheeks.  I normally don’t wear that much makeup, but on that day I just felt like going all out.
