We were invited on Saturday morning for a yummy brunch at Bohemia (highly recommended), a restaurant near downtown Zurich. I met with other Swiss bloggers and with Natalie, the founder of a new media start-up called Digital Eye. I had a delightful chicken and avocado bagel. We then adjourned to Labor Bar where H&M presented their Spring-Summer 2014 collection in an oriental atmosphere. I spotted several nice beach pieces which I could hardly wait to see in stores!
Talking about H&M, I wore for the first time the knit from their recent Isabel Marant collaboration! It was so comfy, warm and everything a knit should be – just terrific to fight what many predict to be a fearsome Swiss winter. I wore over it a black mantel and maintained a “soft” look to do justice to this sophisticated piece. I got out my cut-out stilettos from Elin Kling’s Fall 2012 prêt-à-porter collection. Worn with my slim H&M jeans, they made my legs look deceptively long and skinny. My friend Véronique complimented, “Your look is totally like Sweden’s”. I hope you agree.
