Switzerland is peaceful and quiet but perhaps just a little too much, especially in town on a wintry Sunday. People in search of social contact converge on cafés while families stroll along the deserted streets – that’s about it. The advent of Christmas with its special events and markets is a welcome change. One such event is the 1st edition of Pop Up Corner held over a long weekend (28th to 30th November) in Geneva. I went there on Sunday dressed in this vintage coat from my grandma (to confront the cold), skinny jeans, black shoes and a shirt. The stalls featured fashion and interior designers. Next to the stalls is a small space to take brunches proposed by Urban Gastronomy. Believe me, I had my share.
