Baselworld is an impressive fair, even to blasé regular fair visitors (which I am not one). You can see and “feel” the investment that brands put into constructing their booths and organizing them to run like clockwork (sorry, I couldn’t resist the pun). This is the place for an outsider to get a glimpse of the inner workings of the luxury goods industry. I spent a delightful moment as a guest for lunch at Carl F. Bucherer. The CEO Sascha Moeri took it upon himself to personally present their key creations of this year. Their lady watches feature engravings designed to produce the look of a jewelry without using stones or diamonds. Pity I was not able to take more shots during the lunch. For this day at Baselworld, I was kitted up in a classy yet practical look with my new Minelli white brogues, La Halle bf jeans, Sud Express V-neck top, Joseph coat and Chanel backpack. My fringe has grown quite a bit now, so I pulled it into a low-bun for a chic coiffé-decoiffé look.
