Pro Fiber by L’Oréal Professionnel

Pro Fiber – that is L’Oréal Professionnel’s new program with a technology called “Aptyl 100” to renew damaged hair and make the effect long-lasting. A few days ago, I had the chance to test the claim, and it was exactly what I needed! My hair has become dry since I recently dyed my ends with caramel-blond highlights. Straightening it daily doesn’t help either. So, let me tell you about my experience and how the treatment worked on me… through a video and pictures!
You start the Pro Fiber programme at a L’Oréal Professionnel hair salon. Régine from Living R’ in Bussigny took care of me and she began by analyzing my hair condition and asking me about my routines (such as how often I wash my hair, and whether I use a curler or straightener). The purpose of this diagnostic is to decide on the appropriate treatment along three levels: 1. Rectify (slightly damaged hair); 2. Restore (damaged hair); or 3. Reconstruct (very damaged hair). I was told I needed the third…
Régine then got down to work. I was treated to a shampoo, concentrate and a masque with Aptyl 100. When it was all done, she made me run my fingers over a strand of hair to feel the result. Wow, I was floored by how considerably silkier, softer and healthier my hair felt and looked. They still are as I write, after 12 days!

The innovation of the Pro Fiber range is to allow you to prolong the result at home for up to six weeks after the initial in-salon treatment. I continue to use the shampoo, conditioner or masque as in my normal routine. I apply the leave-in cream before brushing. After every four washes, I apply t
he monodose “re-charge” that renews the hair with Aptyl 100. So far the result lives up fully to Pro Fiber’s promise. I will follow through the 6-week treatment cycle and update you at the end of it.
