I started making (shopping) wish lists since my high school days. My best friends and I would look through magazines, discuss and highlight our favorite items. I would then cut the product images and paste them onto a scrapbook, or note the references in a detailed list. I started replacing the scrapbook with a picture library stored in my first Blackberry phone. Now, I do a collage board on the blog. What better occasion than my birthday to show a few of my current yearnings!
A trip to New York – I went there last February and instantly fell in love with the hectic city (perhaps I am truly a big city girl at heart). I will like to experience NY in another season.
Gucci Dionysus Medium in beige – A coup de coeur that got me eyeing this bag for months now! I I usually dislike monograms and find them ostentatious. Alessandro Michele convinced me otherwise with a modern edge to this kinda vintage design. Shop here: http://fave.co/1QkeeHe
Annie Leibovitz maxi book – I had a chance to flip through the pages of the 50x69cm book and found her photographs simply … S T U N N I N G! A collection of her work in such large format is probably the closest thing to a framed original.
Stella McCartney platforms – I have this thing with flatform shoes. They give you the extra centimeters but are way more comfortable than heels. Shop here: http://fave.co/1Pnseen
Helmut Newton maxi book – Another of my favorite photographers – could spend hours going through the pictures, again and again. Definitely not a coffee table decorative piece for me.
Louis Vuitton LV&Me necklace // Letter R – To remind you in case you have forgotten the first letter of my name.
Anyone out there paying attention…?
