Looking Up

I have always been mesmerized by stunning pictures of colorful hot air balloons often against a breathtaking backdrop. So Inès and I thought, why not live the experience at the International Hot-Air Balloon Festival in Château d’Oex, a 2-hour train ride away? We weren’t lucky with the cloudy and windy weather. Nonetheless we still got to see a few balloons! It was surprising how fast they rose to the skies. Once high up in the air, they drift with the winds and the balloonists never know where exactly they will land. There must be something about (big and beautiful) flying objects that make us look up in the sky and get all excited like kids. We can only imagine how the festival must look with a blue sky filled with a hundred colorful floating shapes. We will be back!
Château d’Oex is about 1000m high. Expecting snow, I armed myself with La Halle boots, a Joseph coat, Comma chunky scarf and backpack. I quickly took off my outerwear to show you my just-in latest dress from SheIn (that I belted and wore as top) (shop here: http://fave.co/1KVNlZA). I enjoy staying in casual clothing so much lately that it is hard to switch to fancy outfits. Do you also get this feeling?

  • Wow, so cool! Amazing pictures, and the view must be stunning. I myself often paraglide, so I can imagine how incredible this must be.
And I love the Coma scarf, very classy!

  • J'adore toute ta tenue, tu es superbe! Ce devait être très beau et impressionnant 🙂
Ce sentiment, je le connais bien! Des habits comforts et chaud en hiver sont parfois difficiles à troquer contre d'autres un peu plus chic mais moins comforts…
