When Jil Sander came out last year with the veiled beanie design, I was seduced by it. As soon as I saw the pictures from the runaway, I went to town to get all the items to concoct my DIY creations. I enjoyed wearing them again this year and included one for my final look with Esprit.
This time my inspiration is on a “urban” winter theme to confront the real or imaginary chill. Collections over the last few seasons have been featuring vivid colors. I notice that people are yearning to go back to less striking colors. Thus, I went for a simple blue with hints of burgundy. I foraged Esprit’s men section for the shirt as I preferred a looser cut. I then had this beautiful blue coat over a checked blazer. The neckband added a little distinguishing detail to the classical coat.
I had loads of fun shooting with these four outfits with Esprit, and I am also much impressed by the quality of the pictures.
